Chartered Financial Planner
Robert joined Chester Rose in April 2024, having started advising private clients in 1988. During his career, he was previously a director of an investment management house and private bank and also worked in the personal tax departments at two Top Ten accountancy practices before focusing on financial planning from 2009 and qualifying as a Chartered Financial Planner in 2014. Robert is also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and was formerly an Inspector of Taxes.
Robert provides holistic advice to individuals and families, with a particular focus on inheritance tax and estate planning.
He runs a business networking group at Lord’s Cricket Ground and has written the wine list for several restaurants. Robert lives with his wife and daughters in London and his interests include cooking, theatre and cinema. He has also lived in France and in Italy and his long-term ambition is to produce organic olive oil from a handful of very unpromising trees he and his brothers own near Florence.
