Independent Financial Planner
Ryan began his career in financial services with Barclays, where for over a decade he provided managerial oversight and advice across a broad spectrum of services including lending, debt management, Legal securities & corporate banking. Keen to further his time spent interacting with clients, Ryan qualified as a Financial Adviser and enjoyed spells with both the Prudential and the Co-op as a Corporate Financial Adviser. Keen to further his career, from 2003 he branched out to form his own company focusing on delivering quality financial planning. It was this synergy for putting clients first and offering independent and well rounded advice which led to him joining Chester Rose Financial Planning in 2023.
Ryan’s primary goal is to building trusting relationships with clients and to understand what they wish their money to achieve. As part of the Chester Rose team he likes to focus on creating a long term plan and aim’s to address any life concerns or financial fears clients might have, whilst keeping the discussions clear to understand. Steering away from financial product talk and towards “bigger picture” life planning discussions allows clients to see just how much their finances can support their future lives. With over 30 years of financial planning experience Ryan is well equipped to understand the likely pitfalls in planning and guide his clients through their financial journey.
Away from the office, Ryan enjoys sporting endeavours particularly running, with a number of marathons and shorter distances already under his belt. Running has replaced his original passion for football where he regularly played, watched and managed teams. He enjoys time with his family with time spent with both older and younger generations a treat.
